A few months ago I received an email from one of the other spouses in Jordan's IFF squadron, the 435th, while we were stationed at Randolph AFB in San Antonio, Tx. The email, was sent out to my husband as well as the entire base, it contained the article (below) written by General Lorenz. This article really put a perspective on how important team work is in a marriage. Although at times Jordan may have the exciting, fighter pilot, badass job and I normally sit quietly in the background ... I know that my job as a military wife is just as important to the success of his. I love my job, I love my husband and I just wanted to share this article with all spouses both in and out of the military. Never take for granted your other half. For the first 6 weeks of school I started off in a small group, our core class, which consisted of fifteen other eager future professionals. We were all there for the same reason. Although most are going to work in a salon in the Phoenix area after finishing school, for me that isn't the case. I am not sure where we will be stationed at the end of this year. At the moment our options are Germany, Japan, Italy, Korea, South Carolina, or Utah. There is no chance that we will be staying in Arizona, so my journey after completing school will be a little different than my new friends. read more
