A Pink Heart is an award of service in a hair salon, with the goal of reaching out to military spouses, and meeting their beauty needs, recognizing the importance of their contributions.

Being a military wife,
I have experienced the great joys and challenges that military life brings. I am so proud of my Air Force husband and his colleagues who selflessly contribute their talents, energy and dedication so that the citizens of the United States can continue to enjoy the freedoms we all enjoy.
While our loved ones fight for our country, we have our own heroes here at home that support their spouses in their work. This humble role takes love, patience, tolerance and courage. And, as someone who has many friends who are also spouses of our military members, I am also able to see how much a helping hand can be worth when they are facing the challenges of their role. Utilizing my skills as a Professional Cosmetologist, I am inspired to act and support military spouses; to recognize and award them for their unbespoken contributions.
A Pink Heart is an award of service for military spouses recognizing their generous contributions. Spouses of deployed members of the Armed Services are awarded with beauty regiments at no cost or a small voluntary donation. It is my hope that this award will help to build the self-esteem of military spouses, making their jobs a bit easier, and reflecting their beauty from the inside out.
